The Anti-Farming Alliance – Rewilder's, bashing civilization since 1981

We don’t just hate farmers, no, no, no!! We have created this site/group to push a few buttons, to piss off some delusional leftists but also more importantly to raise important questions and maybe even help to provide awareness to WHY we are in this self-destructive situation in the first place. Or at least just to start debate. Some of this is tongue-in-cheek and some of it is serious, we’ll let you decide what is which.  We feel the need to be self critical and also externally critical, but it is also vitally important that we keep our humour in these dark days of ecological meltdown.  For humour is life.  Hatred and anger without self-examination (looking at where these feelings come from)  just seem to perpetuate the destruction. If we don’t address the roots of the destruction we (civilized humans) are causing to this planet then we just keep going round in circles and nothing changes (hello leftists?) Infact maybe we need to go in circles again and the fact that we keep going straight ahead progressing into some glorious imagined future is one of the main causes of this destructive road called civilisation.

A holistic perspective is needed if we are going to break from this path to extinction.

This website is merely a compilation of texts and articles that we hope provide a good critique of Agriculture. For moving in a positive direction away from this mindset (or all mindsets) we have provided links to other sites and books and encourage you to explore/read them.

Lots of love,

The AFA

You are right on the money on the true root of humanity’s problems. Almost no one is writing about this. The mainstream media won’t go near it. (What else is new?) Lierre Kieth’s book, The Vegetarian Myth is currently doing more than anything else to put the issue in front of some readers. But much more is needed.

I want to urge you to be more active with this blog, to post some relevant articles such as Zerzan’s relevant essays, and to post comments linking back here on other blogs (including the really big ones) and under major articles around the Web so that people click through to here. Give this site a real presence. The more active you are with it, the more readers and comments you’ll draw. Respond to those comments and generate lots of discussion. This issue needs attention!
